Sarasota, FL: Bobby Jones Golf Club is going to the birds Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26. Join the fun Thanksgiving morning when Bobby Jones Golf Club hosts the 7th Annual ‘Turkey Shoot’ with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start and reduced greens fees. Participants also will receive a discounted breakfast special.
“No turkeys will be harmed and there will be no fowl language on the course,” joked Bobby Jones Golf Club Manager Sue Martin. “Don’t be a turkey! Come join the fun. And, get there early to gobble, gobble up that hot breakfast.”
Greens fees for 18 holes with a golf cart will be just $22.50. Nine holes also will be offered at regular price, $18.00 with a cart, until 11 a.m.
Starting at 7 a.m., the hot breakfast special will be available for $9.00. Golfers with a ‘Turkey Shoot’ receipt will receive a $3.00 discount.
